If you’ve been looking for a waterfront condo in Boynton Beach without the price tag that usually comes with it, Tuscany on the Intracoastal is worth a serious look.
This is one of those communities that doesn’t get as much attention as it deserves, and that’s exactly what makes it interesting.
The Community
Built in 2002, Tuscany on the Intracoastal is a well-maintained development of four-story buildings sitting right on the Intracoastal Waterway in Boynton Beach. The condos range from one to three bedrooms, with spacious split-layout floor plans and private balconies. Pets are welcome, rentals are allowed immediately upon purchase, and units come with one or two assigned parking spaces.
The Amenities
This is where Tuscany really stands out. For a mid-size community, the amenity package is genuinely impressive: a renovated clubhouse right on the Intracoastal, a swimming pool with sweeping water views, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, a billiards room, a gym, a sauna, and a spa jacuzzi. There’s also a boardwalk along the Intracoastal, which might be the best part of living here on a quiet evening.
The Location
Jaycee Park is just three minutes away, and it punches well above its weight as a local gem. It has a mangrove nature preserve with a boardwalk overlooking the Intracoastal where manatees occasionally make an appearance, plus water access for kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. Downtown Boynton Beach, with its restaurants and shopping, is a short drive away. The beach is close. And Palm Beach International Airport is roughly 20 minutes from your door.
One Thing to Know Before You Buy
HOA fees are on the higher side right now. The community is currently in the process of replacing the roofs, which is reflected in the current charges. This is worth factoring into your budget conversations, and also worth keeping in perspective: a community that invests in its infrastructure tends to hold its value better over time.
